360° VR in Solomon Islands: The Price of Conflict, the Prospect of Peace
The first of four VR 360º films produced for the World Bank alongside S1T2, Alana Holmberg and cinematographer Josh Flavell, The Price of Conflict, the Prospect of Peace takes viewers to the Solomon Islands; to the battle-scarred hills of Guadalcanal, to sandy beaches of Visale village to the dusty streets of the capital Honiara. It tells the story of a group of people whose lives were torn apart by the Solomon Islands civil conflict known locally as 'the Tensions'.
This 360-degree film is best seen through a VR headset such as a Samsung Gear VR, but is still pretty incredible when viewed on YouTube or through the YouTube app on iPhone or Android. Below in English, French, Spanish and Arabic versions.
